SIMPLICITA® Bag Smart can be integrated into an artificial vision system for the correct orientation of the product to be packaged.

As you can see in the video, the product placed on the conveyor is analyzed to identify its orientation. Based on this feedback, the robotic arm picks it up and positions it correctly, bringing it to the mouth of the bag opened by our packaging machine.

A funnel is present to prevent any product spillage and keep it in the desired position. Once the product has been inserted the bag is sealed and finally released.

With SIMPLICITA® Bag Smart it is possible to create twin bags, so as to separately pack the different components of a kit.

The system allows you to divide the same bag into two so as to pack the different pieces separately, for example to prevent one of the two from damaging the other (e.g. screws on the paint).

Once the first product has been introduced, the bag is sealed a second time where the accessory was positioned in the lower part of the machine. At this point the second product is inserted, which remains separate from the first. The bag is sealed again and then falls onto a conveyor.

SIMPLICITA® Bag Smart can be easily integrated into a pre-existing and highly automated system.

In this example, our packaging machine has been integrated at the end of a line with an anthropomorphic robot and artificial vision. It can be seen how SIMPLICITA® Bag Smart adapts easily to the layout thanks to its size. 

In the video you can see how the product, once grabbed by the robotic arm, is dropped into the bag of our packaging machine, equipped with a funnel to prevent any spills. The bag is then sealed and released onto a conveyor belt, which carries it to its final container.

Our SIMPLICITA® Bag Smart, thanks to its compactness and versatility, can be easily integrated into pre-existing layouts with limited spaces. 

As can be seen in this example, the packaging machine is perfectly positioned at the end of an automated line for packaging plastic cutlery. Our machine can be placed without problems within a layout equipped with safety barriers.

In the video you can see how the robotic arm drops the product inside the bag created by our machine. Once the product is released, the bag is sealed and dropped onto a conveyor belt.

SIMPLICITA® Bag Smart can be equipped with a shaker. The latter is placed under the machine so as to touch the bag with the product.

In the video you can see how the movement of the shaker positions the plastic spoons horizontally, after they have entered the bag randomly. In this way the volume occupied by the product is optimized.

Once the desired number of spoons has been reached, the bag is sealed and falls onto a conveyor that takes it to the next destination.

SIMPLICITA® Bag Smart can be equipped with a tailor-made funnel to prevent the product from spilling out.

This accessory allows you to insert the product directly into the bag, channeling the pieces so that they are not dispersed into the environment, especially if small in size.

This funnel can be fixed or, as seen in this example, movable. In addition, the funnel can be custom built based on the product to be packaged.

It is possible to set up a line for counting pieces to ensure that there is always the same number of pieces inside each bag.

As seen in the video, a vibrating system drops one piece at a time onto the compartmented conveyor belt. Thanks to a scale, each piece is counted and once the desired number of pieces, indicated by the weight, has been reached, the conveyor moves to the next compartment.

In this way, at the end of the line, the pieces of each single compartment fall into the bag, which is then sealed.

Together with SIMPLICITA® Bag Smart it is possible to prepare a compartmented belt with manual feeding and automatic feeding.

As you can see in this example, the operator has the possibility to choose the different pieces that will make up the kit and to check the pieces to be packaged before placing them on the conveyor, so as to avoid the packaging of defective pieces.

Once the pieces have been selected, the carpet takes them to the mouth of the bag produced by our machine, which will then be closed and sealed.

SIMPLICITA® Bag Smart can be equipped with a thermal transfer printer to print directly on the bag in which the product will be packed. 

With this printer it is possible to print barcodes, logos, info and personal data of the packaged product, etc..

In this example, the bag is printed on a white band to allow a clearer and more defined view of the image.

It is possible to move accessories such as conveyors (elevator conveyor, step conveyor…) very easily as they are not anchored to the machine.

The C-frame of SIMPLICITA® Bag Smart allows the finished product to be evacuated from all four sides of the machine. In the video example you can see how the technician moves the conveyors without any difficulty. This can be useful for adapting our packaging machine to pre-existing layouts or layouts that require flexibility.
